Beyond his legacy as a boxer, his ability to inspire, his courage both in the ring and outside it, and his focus on social justice and activism, make him a unique figure. I would like to know more about his champion mentality, how he faced adversity both physically and emotionally, and what motivated him to continue fighting both for his ideals and for his sporting achievements. A conversation with him would be a learning about courage, resilience and conviction.”

💬 Lorena Cos: “Accompany from real experience, with closeness, without magic formulas, but with practical tools to move forward.”
Today, his trajectory is a testament to perseverance and evolution. From accompanying athletes in their mental and emotional growth to leading a community of more than 40 sports psychologists, Lorena has turned her passion into a real impact. In addition, he is about to release his first book, where he captures everything he has learned over the years.
The role of technology in the psychology of the future
In our conversation, we also reflect on the future of the profession. Lorena believes that technology will play a key role in the evolution of psychology, but without replacing the human value that professionals provide.

📢 Eholo: What trends in psychology do you think will mark the future of the profession?
💬 Lorena Cos: “Without a doubt, psychology through artificial intelligence. They are going to create therapeutic chatbots. It will not replace our work, but there will be a great evolution in how we are going to use technology to work on our emotions. On the other hand, and making a nod to my area, in the field of sports, psychology is becoming a key tool for improve performance and manage pressure. Sports psychologists play a more prominent role in supporting athletes, both mentally and emotionally. A more inclusive approach is also emerging, which goes beyond elite sports and extends to different levels of physical activity.”
In addition, the growth of sports psychology stands out, which is no longer exclusive to high performance to reach all types of people who seek to improve their emotional well-being and personal performance.

💬 Lorena Cos: “Surely I would be an artist, I really like everything scenic, except singing, I would be doing something related to it.”
